২০২৩ সালে দেশে ৩ কোটি ৮০ লাখ টন সিমেন্ট ব্যবহার হয়েছে। ব্যবসা কেমন গেল যদি বলতে হয় তাহলে বলব ভালো না। কারণ ২০২১ সালে ৩ কোটি ৯৫ লাখ টন সিমেন্ট ব্যবহার হয়েছিল। এর পরের দুই বছর ২০২২ ও ২০২৩ সালে যেখানে সিমেন্টের বিক্রি বাড়ার কথা সেখানে এটি কমেছে। এমনকি এ বছরের জানুয়ারিতেও ব্যবসা ভালো যায়নি। ফলে বলতে হয় আমরা যারা সিমেন্ট খাতে আছি তাদের অবস্থা খুব একটা ভালো না।
